Class start with talk from Mr WanB

From the class, Mr WanB is given an idea about something in the universe. According to Mr WanB, something from universe is fall while another thing will rise up and nothing will be in the middle. From my point of view, I do not care about all this, what i concern is the sustainable act or something that save the Earth and can let me live peacefully. Here come Gaia Theory which recommended to read by those who have the same way of thinking with me.

After that project 7 : IBU construction is introduce to us. I am register under group 5 A, who need to prepare 2 bamboo with length 220.7cm.

We go to the site happily

We go to find a thin hollow bamboo around 7.5cm in diameter

Finally we found some

Assignment : Looking Back, 0900-1200, 20th September 2010

PM Dr Sr Mastura gave a talk about group survival. From madam, group means individual commitment to a group effort that is what makes a teamwork. Group survival means the best chance for survival belongs to the group that works together and has a leader who accepts responsibility for your group. I think that the meaning of group survival is cooperate with each other to survive in any natural disaster or 2012 (unite together is the sustainable way to survive).

After that Dr Illas told us that one of our construction management senior had dead. The only thing come into my mind is what happen if the same thing happen to me, I was shock and sad when listen the news. But after stun a moment, i realized that the things i can do for this moment is focus and concentrate.

An assignment was distributed after Dr Illas talk. The task is looking back, looking forward and go to Jalan Zainal Abidin to visit the monument of Jewery Cemetery. 

Looking Back :

First of all, i recall that my parents have given so much hope on me to enter the local university when i still studying in secondary school. And yet when i get the offer letter from USM i was happy and worry. What I happy was I did not disappointed them and I was worrying to come USM alone. But all the elements were not important, the important thing is I really have the intention to study . I am always dream to become a professor future, not to earn many money but to gain knowledge. 


The first day I go to class that is RUS101, I have experienced a difference style of teaching. 'Spoon feed' style is what my previous teacher did. After 1st week, I have slowly suit myself with the new university life. Dr Illias came to give a talk. From the talk, I found my intention before come to USM that is gaining knowledge but the moment I step into USM, I lost my goal. Luckily I was given a good talk. In addition, Dr Illias gave a story which is about a turtle and rabbit, the story has given me an inspiration that nobody will live alone in this world. Although we knew the principle but how many of us can follow the nature of world?


After that I have learnt to draw picture which content only single angle line and dot in difference A4 paper. From the assignment given, I have discovered that a single angle line also can form a very beautiful drawing. The important thing is the intention to learn, never give up. Beside that, i draw many things that is unbelievable because i did not try to finish a drawing before. By the end of the lesson I think Mr WanB gave assignment to make us think further, out of our circle. I always think that I am always live in a small circle which do not know what actually the others did. Sometimes I am alway looking things in 1 way. But I think Mr WanB is putting afford to let all of us think beyond our limit. For instant, I do my best to catch what every lecturer trying to share their knowledge.


Looking Forward : 
I have think too much about future before. I have imagined to become a professor and I buy food to the people who are not afford to buy food. Before achieve my goal, I have to survive for the 2012 disaster. According to video shown by Mr WanB, as a resident of earth, we have to unite to show our love on earth. From my point of view, i think that all the things is just a prediction. We do not know what will happen actually, so i will wait coming of 2012. I will read as many as possible of the others' prediction while waiting for the coming of 2012 as a heart preparation. At least I have some rough idea about what will going to happen on 2012.


Regrading to my contribution, i would rather prepare food and my survival kit which have many types of medicine. Beside that, I will share with as many people as possible what I gain from reading difference kind of 2012.

From the assignment to visit the place, I dun know what can I learn actually. According to the aunty, she also do not know why Jew were here. She is taking care for the place because she grandfather and mother past the responsibility to her. I can see that the arrangement for the monument is very good and nice. In addition, the monuments are in various shape and some are using very good material.

My idea is very simple actually, I like the ancient style of monument. Therefore I have the above idea. It actually like a sign board and all the material used is bamboo which is sustainable. My intention is very clear that I am trying to overcome the outcome of 2012.

My intention : To fix my PONDOK or IBU when some of the adhesives are spoilt during natural disaster
My act : Provide some of the  uSiO2 adhesive in my survival kit
My product : Survival kit with many useful, cheap, helpful and environmental friendly things.
People : Everyone who live on the earth that will involve in the natural disaster perhaps it including me
